If you haven’t tried Groupon yet, go ahead and try.  It gets you great savings at restaurants and other places in the cities around you.  I used it a couple of times in Las Vegas to get meals for half off!  You can try groupon by clicking this link.

Binion’s Bingo?

4

You read that right.  Binion’s Gambling Hall in Downtown Las Vegas has just opened up a new bingo hall in the center of their casino.  They decided to bring back bingo because there wasn’t really a presence of bingo in the Downtown area.  They feel it will be a way to cater to the locals.  They also know that bingo players stand to stay around and play the slot machines in between sessions.

Binion’s Bingo is running 7 days a week, with six sessions daily.  Each session has thirteen bingo games.  The session times are:  11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm, 7pm and 9pm.  Binion’s website is at www.binions.com.

If anyone has played at the new hall, please let us know what you think of the new hall in the comments section.  Thanks!

Vegas Vacation!

Photo by Douglas Cole on FlickrBack from Las Vegas!  Had a great time and if you haven’t been to Las Vegas, you need to go!  I go once to twice a year, and still haven’t seen everything that there is to see.  We were treated great at Mandalay Bay.  First time we have ever stayed there, great food, great service and the slots were fairly loose while we were there.

Now, as for bingo, we only played at one casino, the Gold Coast.  We wanted to try different casinos, but we just didn’t get enough time to do so.  Maybe next trip.  But it was hard not to play at the Gold Coast.  My wife couldn’t stop winning!  The first session she played, she won $450.  The next session it was $200.  The third and final session that she played she won $50.  So she gave some money back to them that time.

The Gold Coast has packages that are easy to order for your convenience.  My wife would play the Special #3 package which would give her 120 faces to play on an electronic machine.  The cost to play was $106.  It was a $174 value.  If you do go and play, please get their players card.  It helps you get up to a $20 admission discount when you show them the card.

We didn’t win the big prize, so I guess we will have to wait until the next trip.  If you have had a good experience at the Gold Coast, let us know, we would love to hear about it!  Even your bad experiences.
