0While this post doesn’t have anything to do with bingo, I thought I share a site that I just finished designing for Paulson’s Towing in Lynnwood, WA. If you need a tow in the Seattle area, give Paulson’s a call.

Here at BigBadBingoBlog.com we have shown websites about bingo halls. Now we felt it was time to show a website about bingo supplies. WholesaleBingoSupplies.com is a website that sell just about everything you would need to purchase for bingo. Please make sure if you are buying for your bingo hall, that it is legal to do so from this site. Each states rules and regulations may not allow the purchasing of bingo paper and other supplies from an unlicensed vendor. But for you players, this looks to be a good source of daubers and anything else related to bingo that you might want to purchase.
There is a great selection of daubers, bingo glue, bingo bags and other items. They have an offer where if you purchase over $75 worth of items, your shipping is free. So if you are looking for another supplier for your bingo needs, check out wholesaleBINGOsupplies.com.

Davis Odd Fellows Bingo – Davis, CA
0
Davis Odd Fellows Bingo can be found at the Davis, California Odd Fellows Lodge. They are located at 415 Second Street, Davis, CA 95616. They play bingo on the second Sunday of every month. Their playing schedule can be found here. The total payouts for the session (doors open at 12pm, session starts at 1pm) is $1,000. Their pricing and bingo rules can be found here.
The one drawback or opportunity some people might see, is that it is only open to the first 100 people through the door. So you had better get there early. The Odd Fellows organization helps support community programs by pairing up with another charitable community organization. All money (after prizes) goes directly to the pair organization.
So, if you are in the Davis, CA area, think about playing bingo at Odd Fellows! Their next session of bingo is Sunday, September 12, 2010. If you have played here before and would like to share your thoughts, stories and pictures, please post them in the comments or email them to bigbad@bigbadbingoblog.com. Reflections Bingo – Phoenix, AZ
2
Reflections Bingo is located at 3415 Northern Avenue in Phoenix, Arizona. They were voted the Best Bingo Hall by the Phoenix New Times in 2008. The only days they do not play bingo are Wednesdays and Sundays. The hall has been in operation for over twenty years and supports local arts and entertainment.
Reflections Bingo gets the whole social media aspect. They do not have a website, but do have a Facebook Page and Twitter Account. On these pages, they let the customers know about their upcoming specials and if certain jackpots have gone or not. (As of Sunday August 22nd their Checkerboard game was at 38#’s or less for $4,000.) But they also interact with their customers as well. People will leave comments about new things that are being tried in the hall and they respond to those comments in a manner not to upset the customers. They realize that the customer is the number one reason they are still in business and it is a give and take to make a happy balance. I wish more bingo halls would follow Reflections Bingo in this aspect.
They have a variety of different programs and specials. Everything from quarter price specials, computer package specials and Back to School specials.
It looks like a very nice and clean bingo hall and I would suggest that the next time you are in Phoenix, go play at Reflections Bingo.

Satellite Bingo
3
The Satellite Bingo Network was started in Alberta, Canada in 1996. The concept is to link many different bingo halls together to play a large money game that connects these halls together by video and audio links in each hall. The game has been running with huge success. Players have won over $200 million dollars playing the Satellite Bingo Game. The largest single prize they have given out has been $250,000.
Satellite Bingo is an exciting game to play. People are really excited when they play. I think the thought of playing against other people from around the province excites them. If they have relatives in another town, they can kind of talk trash about them if their hall wins and the others do not.
The cards to play the Satellite Bingo game are $1.00. They are a single faced card. Basically a “Bonanza” Card that is folded and sealed so that you cannot see the numbers before playing purchasing. The game is an odd/even blackout determined by the date. So if we were playing the game today, 06/09/10, the odd numbers would be wild. You would purchase your cards and open them, and then mark all the odd numbers. When the game is called, all the odd numbers have already been taken out of the machine, so only even numbers are called. The first person to cover their card wins!
If you are up in Alberta and looking to play a fast, exciting game, look for a hall that plays Satellite Bingo!
